On the one hand, parents can use the LITTLE BIRD portal as a non-binding search engine and find out about childcare providers, their opening hours and educational offers.
After personalised registration and logging on to the portal, they then have the option of making place requests to the desired facilities directly online, from the comfort of their own home or computer - even to several facilities at the same time. It does not matter whether the requested facility actually has free capacities at the moment.

Die FAMILIEN APP ist die Plattform, die alle Angebote und Informationen rund um die Familie im ganzen Landkreis bündelt. Die App ist in verschiedene Themenbereiche und Lebenssituationen untergliedert. In jedem Bereich finden sich nützliche Informationen in Form von Artikeln und Einrichtungen und Ansprechpartner innerhalb des Landkreises. Weiter runden Notrufnummern, der Veranstaltungskalender und aktuelle Neuigkeiten das Angebot ab.
Die FAMILIEN APP kann unter https://familien-app-freudenstadt.de aufgerufen und dann direkt auf dem Smartphone gespeichert werden. Da die App webbasiert ist, findet man sie nicht in den üblichen App Stores.
