The Alpirsbach train and bus station is located in the centre. From there, you can reach the monastery and the Alpirsbach brewery in about 5 minutes walking time. The bus service in Alpirsbach is also well developed - our buses will take you to your desired destinations, of course also to the individual districts.
A special plus: If you stay in the Black Forest, you can use buses and trains between Pforzheim and Basel, Karlsruhe and Waldshut, free of charge in the entire holiday region - the KONUS guest card makes it possible!

National Park
Alpirsbach has the great fortune not only to be located in the middle of one of the largest nature parks in Germany, but also to border the only national park in Baden-Württemberg. These parks preserve the incredibly diverse flora and fauna of the Black Forest. They are the habitat of native rarities such as the black woodpecker, the lynx and the primeval forest relict beetle, as well as countless species of fungi. Steep granite rocks, dark forest lakes and mighty firs form a unique combination with lush orchards, lush green pastures and cultivated farmland. Here you will experience more outdoors than almost anywhere else!

Alpirsbach is a proud member of the Naturpark Schwarzwald Mitte/Nord e.V. The Naturpark Schwarzwald Mitte/Nord e.V. is one of the largest nature parks in Germany with a landscape full of life. In order to preserve and promote the natural and cultural landscape in the Black Forest, the nature park supports numerous projects.

It is a free ticket for buses and trains in the holiday region Black Forest, from Pforzheim to Basel, Karlsruhe to Waldshut, criss-cross through nine transport associations - as often as you like and completely free of charge!
