In the spacious rooms of the public library, readers will find an appealing ambience with reading corners and work tables, a computer workstation and a games and reading area for the little ones.
The public library offers over 15000 media for lending. You can browse through novels, non-fiction books, encyclopedias, picture books, children's and youth books, comics or magazines. Audio books, Tonies, DVDs and games can also be borrowed.

The water supply is the responsibility of the city. Applications for the establishment of a connection to the public water supply are to be directed to the city building office.
Please report water pipe bursts immediately to the city building office or outside office hours to the water master.

The drinking water comes from the Zweckverbände Wasserversorgung Kleine Kinzig, Heimbachwasserversorgung and our own water production in the waterworks Eichhalde, Schneckenwald, Reinerzauer Rötenbächle and Hengstbach.
